I was the set designer for Columbia Musical Theater Society's presentation of Urinetown The Musical. The director's vision was to set the show 20 years into New York City's future, presenting a dystopian image of the world that is familiar but also unsettling. Working under a tight schedule and budget, I designed a set that was visually evocative of the director's vision, and yet easy to build.
